About
I am an experienced Counselling Psychologist who offers a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental space for clients to explore and work through their difficulties.
I’m highly creative and use a variety of therapeutic tools—including play therapy, art, and sandtray work—to help clients safely project, explore, and understand experiences.
I have worked in a trauma centre and university counselling support centre during my training and have also worked in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
I hold a master’s degree in counselling psychology and professional accreditation with the HCPC.
Services
I understand how life’s challenges can throw us off course and how trying to adapt to these can sometimes disconnect us from our selves. I’m passionate about helping children and young people (from age 3 to 18) to heal and thrive and work closely with families to achieve this. I also work individually with adults. I have experience in working with a wide range of concerns, including, but not limited to:
* Mood and anxiety issues
* Low self-esteem
* Behavioural and relationship challenges
* Trauma and attachment difficulties
*School related difficulties.
* Bereavement
Please note: For work with children and young people, I require an initial intake session with parents before starting sessions with the young person.
Fees: £90 for self-funding clients. I am registered with most major medical insurers. Medical insurance rates are set by the insurer.
