About

Hello, I’m Suzanne. I began practicing Reiki in 2018 and become a Reiki Master in 2021. Additionally, I have been a registered nurse since 1998, a Special Public Health Nurse since 2008, and most importantly, a proud mother of two.

After a somewhat unconventional start in life and personal experience of loss of parents, and heartache I felt out of control and powerless. I tried various therapies over the years to help ease my pain, wanting to be the best version of myself but nothing had worked to remove the voids within.

I was open to suggestions so when a dear friend suggested Reiki to me in 2016, I was very open to try this complementary therapy.

I was lucky enough to have had amazing, profound and almost instantaneous results after just two sessions. I knew right then I had begun my healing journey, so I embarked on my Reiki training, knowing this was my soul’s mission. I knew I wanted to heal others with Reiki just as I had begun healing at such a rapid rate.

I have always had an overwhelming desire to help people. I am a Registered Nurse and member of the NMC. Since the start of my nurse training in 1997 I have had experience in caring for people in hospital, mental health wards and homes for people with learning disabilities. I have worked on secure units, devising therapeutic care plans along with offering direct care. Wanting to widen my experience, I started working as a school Nurse in London which further highlighted the difficulties many children and families face.

Reiki

Reiki, pronounced as Ray-Ki, is a gentle yet potent energy healing technique with its origins in Japan. Conceived by Mikao Usui just over a century ago, this Japanese Buddhist’s creation has gained widespread popularity in the West. Notably, private and public health authorities, including the UK’s NHS, have recognised and embraced Reiki as a valuable method.

An increasing number of individuals are turning to Reiki in conjunction with other holistic therapies as alternatives to conventional approaches. Reiki serves multiple purposes:

  1. Emotional Healing: Aids in navigating life’s emotional highs and lows. Taking away feelings of resentment and collections of negative feelings. It is a cumulative healing process.

  2. Permanent, Positive Cellular Level Changes: These changes permanently alter perceptions and activate mindfulness at a deep level. Facilitates the elimination of toxins, enhancing the body’s ability to combat diseases.

  3. Stress Relief: Employs powerful techniques to alleviate stress.

  4. Acts as a Preventative: Reiki acts as a preventative measure due to cumulative improvements made in the immune system and the permanent changes that are made on the cellular level.

Crystal Healing

The use of crystals for healing is often associated with various benefits, both physical and metaphysical. Here are some common benefits of using crystals for healing:

  1. Energy Balancing: Crystals are believed to help balance the energy flow within the body, promoting harmony and equilibrium.

  2. Stress Reduction: Many people find that holding or meditating with certain crystals can reduce stress levels and induce a sense of calm.

  3. Chakra Alignment: Crystals are often associated with the alignment and balancing of the body’s energy centers, known as chakras.

  4. Enhanced Meditation: Holding or placing crystals during meditation is thought to deepen the meditative experience and increase spiritual awareness.

  5. Promotion of Sleep: Certain crystals, such as amethyst, are believed to have calming properties that may help improve sleep quality.
