Richard isa professional Director and Actor Trainer. Richard holds an MA from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and a BA in Acting from the Guildford School of Acting. He brings years of industry experience directly to the training room at The Tree Room Studio.

We don’t believe in a "one size fits all" method. Instead, we explore a vast landscape of practitioners, styles, and techniques to help you build a bespoke toolkit that works for you. Our goal is simple: to help you find your own unique creative process and become the best performer you can be.
What We Cover:
Our sessions are diverse and dynamic, mirroring the demands of the industry. You can expect to cover:
The Professional Rehearsal Room: How to break down a script and approach a character.
Technique & Practitioners: From the psychological realism of Stanislavski to the physical expression of Laban.
Text Work: Tackling everything from the heightened language of Shakespeare to gritty contemporary scripts.
Voice & Body: Accent work, projection, and physical grounding.
Creation: Improvisation and devising original theatre.
