About
As a writer and teacher of Literature, I am innately inspired by language, nature and art; therefore creative narrative, classical yoga texts and mythic story infuse my choreography. These creative qualities are woven within precise alignment of classical asana. Flowing transitions between dynamic and static asana, guided by the tala of the breath, creates a graceful dance of breath and movement, stillness and serenity. I design each class with a balance of alignment, yoga assists, form and flow; pranayama, Indian philosophy and meditation.
Tapas has burned brightly and I have completed over a thousand hours of training.
I have been fortunate in working with world renowned international tutors including Claire Missingham, Sianna Sherman, Ambra Vallo, Jeff Phenix and Sri Dharma Mittra, who have instilled authenticity and inspiration into my practice and teaching. My extensive travel across India enriched my studies with authentic insight into the history, tradition and practice of yoga. I am currently studying an Ayurveda Teacher Training with Katie Silcox and I am excited to learn, receive and share my new knowledge on the ancient ‘Science of Life’ with my community.

Vinyas Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a series of creative namaskars, lovingly sequenced and choreographed to music. Classical asana is guided by the rhythm of the breath, creating a tandava, a graceful dance of breath and movement. I design each class with a balance of alignment, yoga assists, form and flow; pranayama, yoga philosophy and meditation. We expand with energy through the body, gently returning to an inner space of stillness and serenity. My classes are uniquely themed, inspired by nature, ancient Indian philosophy and classical yoga texts.
Dharma Yoga
Dharma Yoga was created by Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City in 1975. Dharma Mittra shares fifty years of dedicated, devotional sadhana and is described as ‘a living guru and a true yogi’. He was an aspiring sadhaka to Swami Kailashananda, Yogi Gupta.
Dharma Yoga is a classical, yet contemporary expression of Hatha-Raja Yoga, deeply rooted in Indian philosophy, yoga tradition and ahimsa, universal compassion. This graceful, soulful sadhana integrates elements of dynamic Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga, incorporating beautiful back bends, light inversions and arms balances. Pranayama (breath awareness), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and yoga nidra (healing relaxation) are integral aspects of this practice. Dharma Yoga is a dynamic sadhana that cultivates radiant health, a peaceful mind, a compassionate heart and a sattvic santosha soul.
Rocket Yoga
These vibrant sequences are called the ‘Rocket’ because ‘it gets you there faster’. The Rocket is designed to wake up the nervous system and feed it the precious prana it craves while promoting a spirit of change and freedom in the practice. The perfect marriage of tempo and sequence, these advanced routines are appropriate for all levels of students.
The Rocket sequences designed by Larry Schultz are a new perspective of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa series. Larry rearranged the traditional sequence and developed three different routines called Rocket I, II and III. Each of these dynamics routines work in different parts of the body, opening the main joints and nadi channels, allowing the energy to flow freely helping you remove any blockage.
This deep cleansing process will bring the awareness to a higher state and also make the body flexible and stronger.
With plenty of ways to modify the classical poses, the benefits of the asanas are transmitted equally to renew vitality and energy. The Rocket offer plenty of modifications, in order to build the practice step by step, allowing the body to open gently and promoting gradual transformation in the practice.
