About
I am a BACP registered integrative therapist working with children (12+), young people and adults. My clinical training was at the University of East London and I hold a postgraduate diploma in counselling and psychotherapy.
My priority initially is to get to know my client and focus on building a sense of safety and a trusting relationship, so they feel comfortable to explore. Integrative therapy the way I understand and practice it, is flexible and accommodating. I aim to adapt my approach and collaborate with clients throughout the whole process. It is also holistic, attending to the whole person, their behaviour, emotions and thoughts. It takes into consideration all factors that may be affecting the client, socio economical, systemic, cultural and so on. Together with the client, we work out their priorities and expectations for therapy, and choose the best way to work together, and the best tools that suit them. My hope is that therapy can be creative and fluid, it first involves a leap of faith into the unknown parts out ourselves, and then towards more balance, freedom and self-acceptance.
Services
Fees and booking a session
My fee is £50 for 50-minute initial assessment and each weekly session.
The initial assessment for young clients (12-16) is with one parent/guardian alone.
