About
I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years' experience of working with children and families in a variety of settings, including seven years at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. I am passionate about my work and feel very lucky to have a career which I enjoy so much.
Since qualifying in 2012, I have specialised in working with children and families. Much of my work has been with families who are dealing with the challenges of medical illness or disability. I work using a variety of therapeutic models, including systemic, narrative and compassion-focussed approaches. I tailor my approach to each individual child and family I work with.
I also have a special interest in infant psychology and offer antenatal and postnatal workshops for parents and professionals.
As well as my clinical work, I enjoy roles as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer and an Associate Clinical Tutor at University College London.

Services
Child and Family Psychology Sessions
I offer support to families where there is concern about a child's emotional wellbeing. There are a variety of reasons why families might contact me, including anxiety, exam stress, coping with divorce/separation and coping with changes in life circumstances. Depending on the age of the child and on the particular circumstances, I can offer sessions with just the child and/or family sessions.
Support for Children with Illness or Disability and their Families
Coping with illness in the family can be difficult. I offer sessions to support families in a variety of ways, including how to talk to children about illness, preparing children for medical procedures and supporting families to live their lives to the full despite illness. Often this work requires a number of sessions, but if appropriate I also offer one-off consultations.
Bereavement
I work with children and families who have experienced a bereavement.
Prenatal and Postnatal Baby Psychology Basics Group Workshops
I have a special interest in baby and child development and the baby-parent relationship. I run workshops for parents-to-be and parents of young children.
