Tree Room Therapy Space

Who is the space for?

The Tree Room is a shared wellbeing space for qualified and insured practitioners offering therapeutic, holistic or complementary therapies, classes or workshops.

It’s especially suited to practitioners who value a calm, professional environment and thoughtful, client-centred work.

 

What types of work are suitable?

The Tree Room Studio is suitable for classes such as yoga, mat pilates, breathwork, soundbaths and group activities.  Yoga equipment is provided in the studio

Our four therapy rooms range in size but are generally suitable for:

  • One-to-one therapy or counselling

  • Massage and bodywork

  • Energy-based or hands-on therapies

  • Coaching and wellbeing support

  • Small groups, workshops or courses

What qualifications or insurance do I need?

 

All practitioners must:

  • Be appropriately qualified or trained for their modality

  • Hold current professional indemnity and public liability insurance

You may be asked to provide copies before starting.

 

How does room hire work?

 

Rooms can be hired:

  • On a regular ongoing basis

  • Occasionally or ad-hoc via our online room booking system

We aim to be flexible and supportive, particularly for practitioners building or evolving their practice.

How much does room hire cost?

There is an annual membership charge of £35.00 per annum payable on joining.

Room hire rates vary depending on the room, session length and frequency but to give an indication if hiring for an hour the room rates range from £10.00 per hour for the smallest therapy room to £20 per hour for the studio.  

There is a 50% premium for one off bookings for non-members.

Do you take commission from my client fees?

No. You pay a room hire fee and annual membership fee only.

You set your own prices, manage your own bookings and take payment directly from your clients.

What rooms and facilities are available?

We offer four calm, thoughtfully designed therapy rooms + The Tree Room Studio

Can I personalise the room?

You’re welcome to make the space comfortable for your sessions. We simply ask that rooms are left clean, calm and ready for the next practitioner.

Is there a waiting area for clients?

Yes. There is a small reception area.   Clients may arrive shortly before their session and wait in this area. Practitioners are asked to manage session timings carefully.

Is the space accessible?

We aim to make the space as welcoming and accessible as possible. However, the building is listed and there is no lift to the first floor.   An access ramp is available in reception to enable wheelchair access to first floor level but wheelchair users will require assistance to put the ramp in place for use.   If you or your clients have specific access needs, please contact us to discuss suitability.

Can I see clients privately, or run groups and workshops?

Both are most welcome. Many practitioners use the space solely for one-to-one work, while others offer group classes, workshops or events.

Do you provide reception or admin support?

Practitioners manage their own bookings, client communication and payments.

Will my practice be promoted by The Tree Room?

Practitioners may benefit from:

  • A listing on our website

  • Opportunities for inclusion in newsletters or social media

  • Being part of an established wellbeing space

Website listings are encouraged but not compulsory.

What are the expectations around professionalism?

We ask all practitioners to:

  • Work within their scope of practice

  • Maintain professional boundaries

  • Treat clients, other practitioners and the space with care and respect

  • Treat the Tree Room like they would treat a friends home

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms will be clearly explained when you join. We aim to keep policies fair and transparent.

Can I view the space before committing?

Yes - we encourage viewings so you can experience the space and ask any questions.
